Project 5 - Final Work

In borrowing images from the internet, I was able to make a hyper-realistic composition with found images. By using the lips and neon jelly fish, I found that not only are the images exaggerated, but it create an artificiality that seems familiar but not possible. The Bubbles themselves are also exaggerated in shine and shape, almost a depiction of perfection. 

In regards to the full print, I chose a 20x24 inch canvas to fill. This made the design a lot tighter with a maximalist feel, while still not being overwhelming with the amount of images. I also used a glossy finish for the print as I thought it would accentuate not only the gloss on the lips, but the shine of the surrounding bubbles.
